Noland makes a welcomed return to the Naim Label, in his fourth full-length True Stereo album, recorded live, this time with the help of three first-class musicians and friends.

Having never appeared on the Naim Label under the pseudonym Patrick Noland Group, Passage To Thought marks the stunning fruition of Noland's spacious, dynamic and diverse compositions. Patrick Noland recorded this album soon after the premature death of Julian Vereker, the founder of Naim Audio, and dedicated all nine songs to his memory.

Peace is a collection of beautiful music, a progression of contemplative and gently flowing sound. The album expands and happily fills with strength and life.

Patrick is a hugely talented pianist who wrote every track on the album, and who also plays the wind chimes and twelve string guitar on Peace.

This CD is a moving and very fitting tribute to Julian who loved life and music and also stood on his own. The album was recorded by Ken Christianson in Union Church.

Consisting almost entirely of Patrick's own compositions, Ascending is another wonderful showcase for his abilities as both a composer and as an extremely talented pianist. His intense relationship with the piano is apparent throughout as the mood changes from reflective to passionate to peaceful.
